Steve Cardenas was born on 29 May 1974 in Langley Air Force Base at Hampton, Virginia, U.S.A. He has half-Mexican decency.

He has got training in martial arts and he started to be trained in it from the age of twelve. He also holds a third degree black belt. He was present along with Austin St. John, Walter Jones, Johnny Yong Bosch and Daniel Southworth at the Power Morphicon convention in 2007.

He earned ample fame and recognition for playing “Rocky DeSantos” in ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ television series. He later became the “Blue Ranger” for ‘Power Rangers: Zeo‘. He has also appeared in ‘Power Rangers: Turbo’ as “Rocky DeSantos“.

He has also appeared in the films ‘Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie‘ and ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie’.

He earned the nomination for the Young Artist Award in 1996 in the category of the Best Young Supporting Actor - Feature Film for his role in ‘Mighty Morphine Power Rangers: The Movie’.
