Season 8 begins airings on 2-12-2000 with the episode entitled ‘Operation Lightspeed (1). This season brings a band of demons that got released accidentally from 5000 years long imprisonment and return to the city of Mariner Bay. City is build upon the space (ground) which they once claimed as their homeland. As they plan to wipe out the humans and to get their homeland back, LightsSpeed, a secret government agency recruits a team of Power Rangers to rescue the city from this menace. Eighth season revolves around Power Rangers as they fight to save Mariner Bay. Season’s ending episode entitled ‘The Fate of Lightspeed (2)’ was aired on 11-18-2000. Can the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers rescue Mariner Bay or something else is going to happen???
